Taking down the short stories I published before starting with the School Tales. The experiment with it has been pretty unmistakable. They’d all do better as a short story collection, and published as one book. I’m working on that now, and have three shorts to add to it. I’d like at least four before I publish the collection. That way it’s not someone buying mostly stories they may or may not have already bought. We’ll see how long that goes. I tend to slack off when it comes to writing too much on just one theme.

Never more so than when he finds himself wrapped up in the arms of a pretty young man dressed in silk and looking like a doll. Little distractions like Ezra make him not regret his choice to move West at all.

The Long Term Solution
“Your house is haunted,” are Carl’s first words when Jay asks him for his opinion. “Spectacularly haunted,” are his second words, and everything after that is just evidence pointing out why his opening statement is correct.
Jay’s first house is big, has heating and air, and a water heater he would happily trade his soul for. Most importantly though, it’s affordable. So what if it is a little bit haunted? Jay can think of worse things for a house to have than a good looking ghost who seems to like hanging out in his bed.

Witches are the hardest bounty to collect on, and Blake doesn’t take those marks lightly. His idiot partner, on the other hand, could learn a little more caution when it comes to them. Too bad Aaron didn’t learn before a witch threw a lust bomb –a potion that robs a man of any thought but lust– at the two of them, and left them to deal with the fallout on their own.

A note to myself: it is always wise to periodically go back and check the links of ebooks up at different sites. You know, just to make sure that everything is perfectly fine? That one book isn’t just a cover and title with no description or excerpt. Little, tiny things that you were sure were perfectly fine when you uploaded the files, but seem to have been misplaced after you exited the web site. Is it any wonder you only sold one copy when there was nothing to tell the readers what it was about?
So, yeah. I’m going to be super paranoid about that from now on. On the upside, it will cut down on my obsessive tracking of number reports.

One of the places I publish is at All Romance eBooks. A nice little site for all different kinds of romance. Seriously, this is one of the best places for me right now. I consistently do a lot better there than I do anywhere else. Good as I do there, I’m still a little behind in how the site is organized and what all those little things on book pages really mean. I have yet to find a FAQ explaining any of it, but that’s not saying much. It’s rather easy for me to get distracted when on a website filled with a bunch of books.
Recently, I think I may have actually found out what two of them mean. Maybe. I hope.
Cliches Need Not Apply
Noel used to be a happy boy with his mother and father. Until his mom passed away and his dad got drunk and married a really creepy woman with two sons. Now he’s got a fairy godmother who isn’t female, a bunch of friends who are mice, and there’s something about a ball and destiny that he’d really rather pass on if he has a choice.

Settled in Already
Greg’s not too sure that leaving the not-so-glamorous life of a bartender for the equally not-so-glamorous life of a model was the best decision he could have made with his life. Three years into the career change he’s still not sure which one was better, but he’s not going to make another change anytime soon. Not when the modeling introduced him to his roommate, Kyle. A quiet man who doesn’t like to be touched and for whom Greg just might be falling for. A little, just a very teeny-tiny amount.

Summer is for working and trying to earn as much money as possible before the next semester of college starts up again and Tad is forced to exist on ramen noodles again. His new job working on a farm isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, but he doesn’t mind all that much as long as he has Brandon there to make sure he takes the occasional break.
